Requirments

Policy 3.0 - COACH CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS


3.1 Each Team Head Coach and each Assistant Coach must be registered by its Club in the OSA's computerized registration system.

3.2 Each coach registered with her/his Club and assigned by that Club as the Team Head Coach or an an Assistant Coach to a team playing in one of the following leagues or cup competitions:

  • Senior Provincial Outdoor League
  • Senior Regional Outdoor League
  • Senior Multi-Jurisdictional District Outdoor League
  • Senior District Outdoor League
  • Senior Provincial Indoor League
  • Senior Regional Indoor League
  • Senior Multi-Jurisdictional District Indoor League
  • Senior District Indoor League
  • Senior Provincial Futsal League
  • Senior Regional Futsal League
  • Senior Multi-Jurisdictional District Futsal League
  • Senior District Futsal League
  • Youth Level 1 Outdoor League
  • Youth Level 2 Outdoor League
  • Youth Level 3 Outdoor League
  • Youth Level 4 Outdoor League
  • Youth Level 5 Outdoor League
  • Youth Level 1 Indoor League
  • Youth Level 2 Indoor League
  • Youth Level 3 Indoor League
  • Youth Level 4 Indoor League
  • Youth Level 5 Indoor League
  • Youth Level 1 Futsal League
  • Youth Level 2 Futsal League
  • Youth Level 3 Futsal League
  • Youth Level 4 Futsal League
  • Youth Level 5 Futsal League
  • Ontario Cup
  • Ontario Indoor Cup
  • Ontario Futsal Cup

    is required to have completed the Senior Level of the Community Coaching Program, giving her/him full certification as a Community Coach.

    3.3 A person may only be designated as the Team Head Coach for a maximum of two outdoor teams at any one time.
