Inter-Provincial Transfers FAQs:
1. When do
I need to fill out an Inter-Provincial Transfer form?
If your most recent soccer registration was in another
province, you will need to get an Inter-Provincial Transfer before you are
eligible to play soccer in Ontario.
If the player last played in Quebec,
they also need to fill out a player release form from Quebec. This form needs to be sent to the Quebec region the player
was last registered with.
2. What is
the process for an Inter-Provincial Transfer?
1. Fill out the Inter-Provincial Transfer form located on
our website and have the Club you are transferring to send it to the EODSA
office.
2. The EODSA office sends the form to the OSA to request the
transfer from the province you were last registered with.
3. Once the province responds to the request, the OSA
notifies the EODSA who notifies the Club that the player has been transferred
and can be registered.
4. The player can’t be registered until the transfer as been
approved.
3. What is
the cost involved?
The Inter-Provincial transfer fee of $20 is charged to the
Club in Ontario Requesting the transfer.
International Transfers FAQs:
1. When do
I need to fill out an International Transfer form?
If your most recent soccer registration was in another
country, you will need to get an International Transfer before you are eligible
to play soccer in Canada.
2. What
form do I have to fill out for an International Transfer?
If you are 18 or older, you fill out the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) on the OSA’s application form website. Then the Club
you are transferring to sends an e-mail to the EODSA office with the player’s
name so that transfer form can be sent to the OSA and CSA.
If the player last played in the USA, you also need to fill out the
USSF International Clearance form.
If the player is 12-17 years of age, the transfer
must be processed through the FIFA TMS. Click here for further details on the

3. What is
the process for an International Transfer?
1. Fill out the International Transfer Certificate (ITC)
request form located HERE and have the Club you are transferring to send the
ITC# and player’s name to the EODSA office.
2. The EODSA office sends the form to the OSA to send to the
CSA to request the transfer from the National Association you were last
registered with.
3. Once the National Association responds to the request,
the CSA notifies the OSA who notifies the EODSA who notifies the Club that the
player has been transferred and can be registered.
4. The player can’t be registered until the transfer as been
approved.
4. What is
the cost involved?
The International Transfer fee of $125 is charged to the
Club in Ontario
requesting the transfer.
